Why the Temple Is So Important in the Bible
In this video, we explore how Israel’s temple in the Bible is described as the place where God’s space and humanity’s space are one. In fact, the whole biblical drama can be told as a story about God’s temple. In the opening pages of Genesis, God creates a cosmic temple, and in the person of Jesus, God takes up personal residence in his temple-world. By the end of the biblical story, all of creation has become God’s sacred temple.

That thing about how the whole world is God's temple reminds of how some Native Americans see the lands as sacred.
very much impressive👌 easy like a movie to understand, appreciate your presentation👏👏
It does say the whole earth is his temple. "The heaven is his throne and the earth his footstool"
AMEEEEEN
God bless! Wishing your temples well.
Top-tier animation and production!. I love it. Praise our Lord and Savior, Jesus Christ!❤🔥💯
Hello Bible Project, you forgot that the name of the Lord God dwells in his temple, which is why it is called the Church of Christ. It is important to carry the temple as an individual body as a unit, family, and committee prayer, but in large gatherings or congregations, we need the temple, as His name is Jesus Christ, or the Church of Christ. That is why we worship our Lord Jesus Christ, even though he is a man, but for the glory of God and His name, we worship him not as God but as commanded by the Father (true God). Another thing is that a temple is useless if there are no people worshipping it; thus, material on earth and animals are made by God. It is man who is commanded by God to worship him. In some passages in the Bible, we worship him by body, soul, and spirit. Remember also that our Lord Jesus said to those ancient temples that he would destroy them and rebuild them in three days. So the authority to return to God (religion) is already in Christ Church, the Church of Christ, to be able to get people baptized and get inside to be saved. We also need orderliness and a solemn place for praying, so all his servants will gather in God's chosen place and not as pagan people any place they want. God also commands unity in his church, and this is the opposite of evil for dividing the kingdoms (the nature of the world we have). There is only one kingdom set by our Lord God and Lord Jesus Christ, and every person needs to find it, so your Bible project is complete. Bring them into the Church of Christ. This is the same Noah who built the ark and Jesus who built his church.
Typically of the theological syncretism…
❤
I love that the videos always end in Jesus! It’s all about him after all
Why do you call JESUS the temple, he is GOD himself.
Lol so what do since in ur eyes some have failed that means judgement in some literal sence? Then what why are u minipulating the situation for then I won't allow the world to end no matter how shitty the world is and no matter how small my family is and true believers there might not be it m and nothing to me Jerusalem entery quota can be small not a everyone can be true to faith prove me wrong simple
Corrupt because I allowed kiss asses and liers amongst my flock lol no if I did I allowed them so to change there ways u want me to allow my enemies family status so that u can join lol no I know exactly what ur trying to do here I've said it many times enemies make better allies but did I make scar my family member no because one he's hasn't talked to me in anyway to show me he's mine I have no I'll will but I understand that just because some I've once deemed enemys are now my allies and now allies are enemies vise versa now I should see those who terrorise me into allies for the the fact that I've said something long ago no that's not how that works my friends
The biggest mistake because they build temple for no reason at all!
It’s a mess interpretation in the Bible
Where in the bible does it say the thrid temple has to be rebuilt ?
Can you make a video of Zion 😊
Thank you
As a Latter-day Saint, I love this. It describes something very beautiful. God's work and presence truly does stretch out across all creations. Of course, we LDS believe that God has put temples back on the earth for us to perform sacred covenants. But I see this as a continuation and a part of whats taught here.
This is such a beautiful video – the explanation and the animation 🙂 Thank you guys! <3
