  1. You’re completely ignoring sanctification. There are two offerings of the day of atonement. Jesus offered his blood, and he also offered his body.
    Hebrews 10:10,14 KJVS
    By the which will we are sanctified through the offering of the body of Jesus Christ once for all. [14] For by one offering he hath perfected for ever them that are sanctified.
    Romans 6:6 KJVS
    Knowing this, that our old man is crucified with him, that the body of sin might be destroyed, that henceforth we should not serve sin.
    So how is the body of sin destroyed, or rendered idle as the definition for the Greek word reads. Through suffering.
    1 Peter 4:1-2,12-13 KJVS
    Forasmuch then as Christ hath suffered for us in the flesh, arm yourselves likewise with the same mind: for he that hath suffered in the flesh hath ceased from sin; [2] That he no longer should live the rest of his time in the flesh to the lusts of men, but to the will of God. [12] Beloved, think it not strange concerning the fiery trial which is to try you, as though some strange thing happened unto you: [13] But rejoice, inasmuch as ye are partakers of Christ's sufferings; that, when his glory shall be revealed, ye may be glad also with exceeding joy.
    Read the 12th chapter of Hebrews.

    Now no chastening for the present seemeth to be joyous, but grievous: nevertheless afterward it yieldeth the peaceable fruit of righteousness unto them which are exercised thereby.
    All of the above explains why we should work out our salvation with fear and trembling.
    Philippians 2:12-13 KJVS
    Wherefore, my beloved, as ye have always obeyed, not as in my presence only, but now much more in my absence, work out your own salvation with fear and trembling. [13] For it is God which worketh in you both to will and to do of his good pleasure.

  6. For a long time I assumed that I was saved and with out actually understanding I just carried on sinning. Then one day God showed me the book of Jude which at first I never understood but the word lasciviousness kept popping up. I read Jude again and came across the words turning the Grace of God into lasiviousness and realised that I was sinning without no confession or repentance. Thank the Lord that he showed me the error of my ways and from that I will fight to my last to try to be right with God . I don’t want to sin and fail so miserably at times. May God forgive me.

  27. Thank you Pastor Jack you are so right on. So here is my question. I got the DAZE today and went directly to Chapter 5 about the church. You quoted Daniel 9, Daniel 9:26 says: The last sentence says "of it SHALL BE with a flood, And till the end of the desolations and determined." Only thing I can find is Gusik says that the flood is an army???!!! thanks for the help. You are surely here for this day. And could you send me a burger we don't have those here in Montana.

  28. We work out our own salvation by yielding to and obeying the promptings and leading of the Holy Spirit and the Word of God. He (the Holy Spirit) Who began a good work in you (at regeneration) will perform it until the day of Christ Jesus.

    I pray the seeds he received grow deep and bring him up to a hunger and desire to know the Word in spirit and truth.
    He really has become a scoffer and quite arrogant in his belief that the Word is as words of other religions. Breaks my heart. He is so smart but he sits on the throne.

  37. Fear and trembling is exactly how it sounds. God wants us to remember how powerful and terrifying He is so we don’t sin against Him.

    Revelation 15:4 (KJV) Who shall not fear thee, O Lord, and glorify thy name? for [thou] only [art] holy: for all nations shall come and worship before thee; for thy judgments are made manifest.

    This is what David said. Psalms 119:120 (KJV) My flesh trembleth for fear of thee; and I am afraid of thy judgments.

  41. I hope that Jack means well, but this is a dangerous teaching. He subtly promotes the cheap grace, once-saved-always-saved message; which is completely false and very dangerous. He gave the "cheap grace" answer to this question. Do not fall for it.
