Working with Gov. DeSantis to Eliminate the DEI Bureaucracy in Florida’s Public Universities

Earlier this week, I delivered a presentation with Florida Governor Ron DeSantis exposing the “diversity, equity, and inclusion” bureaucracy in Florida’s public universities.
I based my presentation on my recent investigative reporting series, which has revealed the process of ideological capture at four public universities. These programs preach the values of tolerance and inclusion, but in reality, serve as vehicles for left-wing racialist ideology and partisan political activism. They are designed to replace the system of academic merit with a system of race-based preferences and discrimination—which, in many cases, explicitly violates federal civil rights law.
Here are the headlines from these investigative reports:
–Florida State University divides students according to a “matrix of oppression” and offers a racially segregated scholarship that deliberately bars white students from applying.
–Florida International University condemns the United States as a system of “white supremacy” and trains students for participation in violent left-wing protests.
–The University of South Florida encourages students to attend racially segregated counseling programs and promotes “reparations,” “defund the police,” and “prison abolition.”
–The University of Central Florida condemns the United States as “white-supremacist culture” and encourages active discrimination against the “oppressor” class, characterized as “male, White, heterosexual, able-bodied, and Christian.”
To address this problem, Governor DeSantis and Florida legislators have proposed a bill, HB 999, that would eliminate the DEI bureaucracy in all public universities statewide. This would immediately disrupt the process of ideological capture and send a clear signal to the rest of the nation that conservative taxpayers will no longer support left-wing political activism under the guise of neutral scholarship.

DeSantis is trying to be Hitler. And people like you are wanna be Nazis. But the difference here nobody respects this idiocy and nobody is afraid you because we know you’re nothing but racist cowards. This isn’t 1923. You aren’t scaring black peoples into doing what you want.
Again… why was woke Marxist indoctrination written into the STOP WOKE Act? The CASEL 5 was written into HB 7. Why is nobody talking about this?
There are issues on both sides of this. I had address my sons school about their curriculum because they tried to show my 4 year old Turning Red, I said absolutely not. But on the flip side, this Bill would end black greek programs that absolutely have lead to the betterment of many African Americans getting opportunity. Where is see a clear issue that no side addresses, is dictating what individuals can learn. That needs to stop immediately. I can't stand the liberal studies but they also should not be regulated anymore than public schools teaching Columbus Day, Thanksgiving, The Civil War and slavery. Those watered down courses haven't been any better. If you wanted to make a real impact, for public institutions to have courses on trades, accounting, taxes, conflict resolution, job interviews, balancing a checkbook, things every adult needs and uses.
Really commend you for educating people and having the courage to fight to end this DEI bureaucracy. I hope this can happen in the rest of the US, Canada and other countries. Prayers for your success.

Interesting stuff Chris. But setup with DeSantis sitting there in front of those screens seems weird? Maybe it’s his sitting there in front of all these monitors in his suit by himself gives me that sort of Tyrell Corporation vibe. Message seems on point but the format is off putting?
