Melchizedek is one of the most intriguing characters in the Bible, first introduced in the story of Abraham. He’s a mysterious priest king who rules a city that will later be called Jerusalem, and he gives God’s blessing to Abraham.   1. But because priests offer sacrifice … we can see that Melchizedek's offering of bread for a meal … also points to the last supper. But at the last supper, Christ is both the priest and the sacrifice.

  3. The priesthood represents work and man efforts. The Melchizedek priesthood represents the finished works of Christ!!!

    Law keeping man made gets us nowhere but we humbly and graciously receives God’s blessing bc of what was done for us not what we did for God

    1. You must view scriptures from a Jewish perspective. For instance the rapture is a Jewish Wedding the Father send his son to claim his bride and carry her to the bridal chamber HE had prepared for her.
    2. Yeshua had the last super wirh his disciples where he explained the Abraham blessing of Melchizedek

  12. ****MELCHI(S)EDEC WAS AN IMMORTAL****
    This goes against the mass's belief – but our Bible has been redacted from within the body to be without (outside) the body in which the church inserted themselves in place of. Melchisedec was mentioned as a king/priest but was really an immortal one, that 'raised the body from death', like JESUS (JESUS meaning the body). This is why he is so mysterious because he knew of and followed THE FATHER before JESUS was on the scene. Hmmm. TRUTH will come out soon. FYI.

  16. Malchizedek = Malchi Zedek = King of Righteousness. It is a title. At that time Shem, son of Noah held that title (he was about 400 y/o). Abraham died before Shem so the title must have passed to Yitshaq then Ya'aqob. Noah the 8th preacher of righteousness even though he was 10th position because Lemek died before Methuselah and Enoch was taken before Yered (2 Pet: 2:5)

    1. Melchizedek, who's hard to explain
    (Heb 5:11)

    2. Natural and Spiritual Melchizedek.

    In old testament times when all priests blessed with animal sacrifice, Melchizedek the high priest, blessed Abraham with bread and wine.
    (Ge 14:18-20).

    Jesus Christ the highest priest of all, did exactly the same
    (Mt 26:26-28)

    Apostle Paul's Testimony
    (Heb 5:8-10)

    Then what is difficult to explain ??

    3. Points hard to explain.
    The difficult points.
    (Heb 7:1-3)

    Jesus had genealogy (Matt 1:1)
    and had parents who had faith in truth .(Matt 12:50)
    And is God almighty. (Jn 10:30)

    Thus, St Paul is NOT telling about the 1st coming, but the SECOND coming Christ.

    4. We can recognise 2nd coming Christ if he fulfils the following. (Heb 7:3)

    a). Must have no genealogy in Israel unlike 1st coming.

    b). Must not have parents in faith, I,e,. They must be gentiles.

    c). Must bless with bread and wine like 1st coming as prophecied in (Isa 25:6-9)

    d) Must be God Almighty.
    (Heb 9:28)

    e) Christ forever
    (Isa 25:9)

    The one who fulfils all these prophecies and conditions is Our Father, the second coming Christ and he's the high priest in the order of Melchizedek.

  27. ☝If the terms Jew and Judaism come from “Judah”, how therefore could the faith of Abraham Isaac Jacob Israel and his “Hebrew” Israelite sons be Judaism?

    “Jew”=”Judean”(G2453) – Most “Hebrew Israelites” were never of the Kingdom of Judah or Judea. Also, a “Judean” may be of the tribe of Judah Benjamin Levi or Simeon..

    “Jew”=”Judahite”(H3064) – Most “Hebrew Israelites” were never in any way of the tribe of Judah, “Judahites”, including those who inherited the fruitful blessings promised to Abraham but that is another story…

    Moses was of the tribe of Levi and never a Jew(H3064) or Jew (G2453), just like Aaron Miriam Samuel Jeremiah Ezekiel Ezra Malachi and all other non Judahite tribes.

    Most of the Apostles were of Galilee, not Judea, therefore not “Jews”=Judeans(G2453), nor is there any evidence in scripture that proves they were "Jews"/Judahites (H3064) either..

    Galilee was part of “Israel”, not Judah or later Judea, even after Babylonian captivity it was composed primarily of non Judahites(H3064). Like Paul of Tarsus whose family was from Galilee, for example..:deusvult:??

    Philippians 3:5 Circumcised the eighth day, of the stock of Israel, ??of the tribe of Benjamin, an Hebrew of the Hebrews??; as touching the law, a Pharisee;

    Rom 11:1“I say then, Hath God cast away his people? God forbid. For ??I also am an Israelite, of the seed of Abraham, of the tribe of ""Benjamin""
