  4. Every time when I hear that people, who never tortured anybody for one minute, who could not even imagine doing something so horrifying to another human being, justly deserve to burn alive day and night without rest forever and ever… Everything in me cringes.

  7. At this point, this man is so used, and abused it, would be quite helpful to us all, if you would list the date of the sermon, and where it was given.

    Think about the people trying to sort this man's sermons out even 10 years from now, much less 20 or 30.

    Most of what this man has to say is chop shop internet nonsense on YouTube, from people looking to make a name for themselves.

    If you are the real deal, be sure and set yourself apart. It is a matter of history to be able to follow what this man has said over the last two decades without confusion.

    I am sorry for counting you as one of the peddlers, but identifying a sermon's specific date is very important to a diligent student.

    Your children will be listing his old sermons time and time again 3 years from now just to try and get listings on YouTube, and it's a shame before God Almighty.

  8. This is so true. I read through the New Testament again some time back and the more I read the more I realised just how much the sacrifice Jesus made for us means. We don’t really understand that… what that truly means. What He went through for us to be redeemed and reconciled to the Father.

    I also realised just how much of an impact the Gospel has completely transformed civilization and the world as a whole. When you look at the extreme evil and complete recklessness of those societies in the Old Testament I dont think we, today, can even fathom what life was like back then. We are worried about things today for which we probably would not even have lived long enough to survive because you would have gotten killed or sacrificed to a god before then. We don’t realise how rare basic human decency was back then.

    I grew up in a society that is still very much attached to ancestral pagan gods (many of whom are mentioned in the Old Testament actually) and the rituals therein, though they are mostly done in secret because it would create a societal uproar and considered illegal and extremely evil in the (still very Christian influenced) moral compass of the world post Jesus Christ. I sometimes try to imagine what that would look like if those practices were considered perfectly normal practice for everyone today as it used to be BC. Pure hell on earth.

    We do not measure what the Lord does for us everyday, in every single way. Sometimes I think about His love and it literally brings me to tears.

  9. So many useful spiritual tools, if I may highlight some.

    People get sick and Die, it’s part of the fall of man, there is a difference between circumstances of the fall and judgement.

    Do not build doctrine on the stories of the Bible but use the teachings of the Bible which are designed to help interpret. Narrative: Acts 6/ Teaching:1 Tim 5.

    Gods judgement is for the wicked and not the righteous. Who the righteous? Those who God declares to be righteous. We are saved by Grace and Faith alone not by works alone. And finally CLING to Jesus and receive the peace,comfort and hope that comes from knowing that we are saved by Grace and Faith. To God be all the glory, I pray for this man of God. Dropping knowledge like it’s everybody’s business Amen.

  17. Voddie, like the very few preacher/teachers of the TRUTH of the word of God, you feel every word you speak. I never thought I would actually find five different preachers I'd respect and be able to listen to who taught Biblical TRUTH, with love and clarity. I feel so blessed, there is so, so much "bad" going on out there in some of those places that call themselves a church. It's not about the Father, the Lord Jesus Christ and Holy Spirit I know and love. GOD BLESS YOU ALL and keep you safe in His Care. AMEN!!!
