I was amazed that an atheist accused me of 'sealioning' to shut down my use of questions which is a term I've never heard of before.
So using Tactics is now Sealioning. SMH.🙄
Another example of society trying to dumb people down by not asking questions but to just accept what you are told by the MSM.
"…What is Sealioning?
Sealioning refers to the disingenuous action by a commenter of making an ostensible effort to engage in sincere and serious civil debate, usually by asking persistent questions of the other commenter. These questions are phrased in a way that may come off as an effort to learn and engage with the subject at hand, but are really intended to erode the goodwill of the person to whom they are replying, to get them to appear impatient or to lash out, and therefore come off as unreasonable…."

I don't understand "deconversion" (32:29). Becoming a Christian is not enrolling in a movement which one can subsequently leave. It is being born again – born into God's family. Speaking to Nicodemus, Jesus said 'You (plural – "y'all" if you like) MUST be born again' (emphasis mine). Peter, writing to Christians, said 'For you HAVE BEEN born again, not of perishable seed, but of imperishable, through the living and enduring word of God' (again, emphasis mine). We all should have two births. The first one, of course, is natural birth into this physical world as one of the evil dead. The second is when we come to Jesus and are born spiritually into God's family, receiving new life in Jesus. Surely birth is a one-way process? If someone can explain how a person, having obviously been born, can be unborn, or 'de-born', then I suppose I could possibly understand 'deconversion'.
Looking forward to using what you mentioned about the middle school sexuality "confusion" or whatever it might be called. As a teacher, I see more and more of this every year.
