    The increased numbers of people crossing the border right now are something that border experts have predicted for some time now. The roots of what is happening are in the Trump administration policies that caused massive numbers of people to be stuck on the Mexican side of the border—policies like “Remain in Mexico” (which forced over 70,000 asylum seekers to wait for their U.S. court dates in Mexico border cities) and “metering,” a practice under which U.S. border authorities place severe limits on who is allowed to approach ports of entry and ask for asylum, in violation of U.S. and international law.

    The increased border crossings were predictable, not because of Biden administration policies like winding down “Remain with Mexico,” but because of the dangers put in place by Trump’s cruel and illegal policies of deterrence.

    (aggressive crackdowns—or threatened crackdowns—in 2014 and 2017 led to short-term reductions in migration, only to be followed by steady increases leading to record numbers of asylum-seeking children and families in 2019.)

During the Obama, Hillary and Biden presidencies, many of my families died of bombing, more than 500,000 children died, and more than 2,000 people died from drone strikes. I fled to the Netherlands in 2018! I noticed that the media insults, laughs and makes stories about trump for 24 hours. i my eyes opened when I discovered that the media is a left wing media and they never tell the good things about trump. one day i saw obama on tv with full of fear and tears watching people praise him .. meanwhile i received phone calls from friends who also watched tv and were full of anger why he was so praised .. then i understood … the media wants us to hate trump and I had somehow succeeded in it … but then i got an inspiration from god. I went to see Trump's press conferences myself every day.
