Rush’s Producer Reveals the Limbaugh You DIDN’T Know
Rush Limbaugh was the most listened-to voice on the radio in the world, but few knew him as well as his producer and sidekick, James Golden, better known as Bo Snerdley. Bo was there with Rush from the beginning to the very end and tells the incredible saga in his new book, “Rush on the Radio: A Tribute from His Sidekick for 30 Years.” He joins Glenn to recall how it all started and tell the stories Rush left untold: What happened after President Trump gave him a Presidential Medal of Freedom, what his final days were like, and who the next Rush Limbaugh may be.

This conversation was absolutely priceless and then some Glen and James. Thank you. 😎👍🇺🇸🎶🎵
Glenn..the bandanna. Really? 🤦♂️
it was August of 1988, I was 22 and my neighbor came over and said "you've got to hear this guy on the radio, he thinks like us !" That was my introduction to Rush.
Let the guest talk! No one cares for the hosts opinions!
I loved and miss Rush deeply! I'm so glad to have heard this interview in 2024 and to realize now, how intensely "Bo" truly had his back when Rush was alive.
Some car dealers (Ex. Volvo) have excluded AM radio access from their vehicles. How has your show been affected by this?
Rush was an American icon who loved his art, his nation and God. I miss him.
To this day I still haven't recovered from the loss of Rush Limbaugh. To me he was sort of an uncle type figure. I listened to him almost on a daily basis (even if I missed his show I'd listen to the Youtube episode). He will never ever be forgotten!
The Democrats are not attack dogs; they are a smear machine
It's January 1, 2024, just listen to this, and I'm crying my eyes out. I can't tell you how much i miss Rush. Not a day goes by that i dont think about him and yhe lessons learned by listening to him. He was indeed like a father to me. Miss you Rush
LOVED THIS.!
Talent on Loan from God. As true a statement as a human has ever made. God sent Rush to this world for his time and I do believe ob Feb 17th or whenever the actual time of departure Rush left this world, there was a welcome committee at the gates of Heaven saying "Well done thou good and faithful servant" Rush you are in our hearts and in our minds forever. We experience this superior talent and sincerity in our memories every day.
February 17, 2021 was one of the best days in America
I miss The harmless lovable fuzzball.
When Rush was on the radio, I never surfed the channels during commercials. That’s how good he was. You didn’t wanna miss a second of any of his shows
Rush had a GREAT tv show, the best. The enemies of our Republic had to take him off the air or he would have gutted them like a fish. And he was gutting them.
Sacramento was where Rush Limbaugh took off. Not new york.
I remember when the freight dog from Hastings Nebraska called in.
Glen needs to give Bo/ James a show
Its was a sad day when we lost Rush. There'll never be another like him
I still tear 😢 up when I think about Rush's passing. Thanks be to God for blessing us in all things
I need Rush to tell me what to think now more than ever. I sure do miss him. He was taken home too soon. He had so much more work to do.
I am an african who did his studies in the states early 2000s, use to listen his talkshow, rush made some great argumentative facts in regards to US politics, one fact being the Democratic party never advocated for major causes such the emancipation proclamation, civil rights and that the advancement of these causes only moved through whenever a Republican was at the helm, in oppposite to what many people believe, Rush was great!
So he ran a con for over 30 years to make money, feed his ego, distort facts and help ruin a country and allow the rise of trump. Yeah, ,I'll miss him.Not.
We were so fortunate to have Rush. I loved him. I love Bo Snerdley and Glenn too! How blessed we are.
Glen! I use to laugh at you in the late 2000s now I have so much respect for you…. thank you for everything you've done
I miss him
