Talking With Your Kids About Critical Theory
As parents, we need to be help our kids think critically about false ideas. Rather than isolate our kids, we need to inoculate them from false ideas so they are able to defend against them.
Critical theory (CT) is one of those false ideas. In fact, it is a dominant worldview that undergirds much of what’s going on in the culture today. Like all worldviews, it influences what we believe and how we behave. Unfortunately, many people–especially young people–are being taken captive by this dangerous philosophy.
In this discussion, Neil Shenvi will help us understand the central claims of CT and show us how it contradicts the Christianity worldview. Our goal is to give you practical strategies for discussing this important issue with your kids.
