Everybody knows what happened on 9/11, right?

The truth is most of my peers—I was born after 2001—don’t. They almost certainly don’t know why it happened. Most probably don’t even know who did it. Such things aren’t taught in schools now. So here’s what took place on that fateful Tuesday, what the United States of America did about it, and why it’s one of the most important days in American history.

September 11, 2001, began as a beautiful morning on the East Coast. America was at peace—not embroiled in any foreign war. Passengers boarded their early flights, headed to business meetings or to visit relatives across the country.

Tragically, they were not the only ones who boarded planes that morning. Nineteen Islamic terrorists, organized by the terrorist group that calls itself al-Qaeda, directed by its leader, Osama bin Laden, and drawn from four Arab countries, also boarded planes that morning.

All of the planes—the terrorists were split among 4 of them—were cross-country flights, so their tanks were filled to capacity with jet fuel. Within an hour after takeoff, these 19 terrorists would hijack the planes, brutally murder defenseless stewardesses and pilots, and kill 3,000 innocent people.

At 8:46 a.m., a hijacked American Airlines flight leaving Boston crashed into the North Tower of the World Trade Center, the international symbol of America’s economic power. Seventeen minutes later, a second hijacked plane, also departing from Boston, crashed into the World Trade Center’s South Tower. The two planes, spewing their jet fuel, ignited fires that burned hot enough to compromise the buildings’ structural integrity.

Hundreds of New York firefighters and police officers raced up the towers to rescue the victims. Quite suddenly, the buildings collapsed, killing 343 firefighters, 60 police officers, and thousands of trapped office workers.

A third hijacked plane, leaving Washington’s Dulles Airport, crashed into the Pentagon, the headquarters of the U.S. military; 125 Pentagon workers were killed.

The passengers of a fourth hijacked plane—this one leaving Newark International Airport shortly after the others—had just enough time to learn, via their cell phones, of the other attacks.

  1. Was in a meeting when we heard about the 1st plane. My boss was a New Yorker, and we all thought some jackass in a small plane flew off course. It took a few minutes before we found out what had hit the tower. Shortly after, the 2nd plane hit. We sent employees home and to get their kids from school.
    It was a Tuesday morning in Houston.

  3. Good information on 9/11 as it was reported to us to understand, but the unfortunate aspect is that the truth is much more sinister and darker than you can imagine. Having grown up in NY and knowing people, including some of the firemen very well who died at the World Trade Center, I took a particular interest in learning as much as I can from an impartial point of view, and what I uncovered is scary. First, we need to know who the worldwide beast is. This beast to me is the Antichrist and is referred to by a multitude of names, such as the new world order, the Council of 13, the Illuminati, etc. This is group mentioned multiple times in the book of Revelation. They’ve been wanting to conquer the world and implement a one world government. In the United States, they’ve been attempting to divide this nation so that it would fall by virtue of the divide and conquer technique. Over a hundred years ago they tried to divide the nation by race, but with each subsequent generations race relations improve significantly. The goal of the global conquering and one world government was supposed to have begun in the year 2000, especially after the collapse of the Soviet Union. However, with the world seemingly at peace, something has to happen to create an excuse for the new world order community, led by the might United States, to begin a world takeover one nation at a time, similarly to the way the Roman Empire steamrolled into becoming the beast it was, and still is. So, the idea was to use military aircraft controlled remotely like drones, and were made up to look like commercial airlines. We were told that the airplanes were hijacked by 19 Muslims, in which two hijackers flew the planes into the World Trade Center, another flew a plane into the Pentagon while another crashed landed perfectly in a field in Pennsylvania. There were passengers on those planes, the planes were hijacked via remote controlled and the voice of the supposed stewardess calling about being hijacked was just an actress. The event triggered a sentiment to finger the attack on Muslims because it set into motion a worldwide response to send troops into the Middle East, which the U.S. coalition seized Afghanistan and Iraq, and later when Obama was president, more than two dozen coup attempts on smaller nations. You are either with us or against us references the new world order as the beast. Taking the mark of this beast by either being with it or against it. Those nations that refused to align themselves are Russia, China, North Korea, Cubs and Iran. The media and board of education is controlled by the new world order, which does not want to bring much attention to the event because of people like me, who knows what happened and why. Less exposure equals fewer people knowing the truth about what occurred and why. Here we are already 22 years later and I can still remember that day as if it was yesterday. Recently they have lied to us about the Covid virus, only giving it to a percentage of people who tested for Covid, and then killing many in the process by putting ventilators on such patients by mistreating their sicknesses. Instead of using treatments with anticoagulants, they misled people into taking a vaccine that actually gave recipients the virus, killing many more through a multitude of blood clots. Our media has lied to us since day one of this war in Ukraine. Using propaganda at its highest level, they have showcased the most dishonest piece of news reporting that rivals its depictions of Trump’s Russian collusion and the January 6th garbage, by making this war appear as if Ukraine is just innocent defenseless people trying to live a life of liberty when they were just attacked in an unsuspecting way by an evil Russian empire for the sole purpose of killing innocent women and children, followed by the heroics of the Ukrainian people to be destroying Russia in self defense only, leaving out the details of what this war is about. It is control of Ukraine. If the new world order controls Ukraine, they will then set their sights on a nearby country until they eventually conquer the whole region. Why do you think the United States took part in Korea and Vietnam wars? It was to eventually erect military bases on either side of China to prepare for a future war with them. Similarly, after 9/11, the United States took Afghanistan and Iraq to surround Iran, but Iran kept thwarting America’s efforts to set up military bases for an eventual attack on Iran that still has not occurred. So, the truths on 9/11 are far worse than we know or even want to know.

  5. Many american students born in the post-9/11 world already know about this event, Bin Laden, the numbers, among other things. This was also not the first time the towers were struck either. If we didn't learn this from formal education, then we learned it from pop culture.

    Also the attacks occurred for multiple reasons as far back as the Iranian Revolution. Though in a 1997 interview with CNN, Osama Bin Laden claimed it was tyrannical, especially with its support for Israel. (PBS Frontline, Osama Bin Laden v. The U.S., edicts and statements, March 1997)

    This is also very likely due to reactionary and extremist perceptions of Islam. In either case, Bin Laden never claimed the United States as free in that statement

    If you are unwilling to explain the nuances and historical accuracies of the situation, but willing to instead pull strawman arguments while treating younger generations like they are ignorant, then you're not a university as your label says; you're a grifting program of ultranationalistic propaganda

  8. The September 11 attacks were carried out by 19 hijackers of the militant Islamist terrorist organization al-Qaeda. In the 1990s, al-Qaeda leader Osama bin Laden declared a holy war against the United States, and issued two fatāwā in 1996 and 1998. In the 1996 fatwā, he quoted the Sword Verse. In both of these fatāwā, bin Laden sharply criticized the financial contributions of the American government to the Saudi royal family as well as American military intervention in the Arab world.

  9. Deliver this with neutrality, not emotionally manipulative rhetoric. You sound like a parent reading a bedtime story to a child. The instant a listener starts feeling as though they’re being manipulated, they become skeptical of the source, asking/thinking to themselves “Why is this person trying to manipulate me? What are they hiding, or over compensating for? Is their position so weak it can’t even stand on its own merits?” Instead, you should strive to speak like an adult, talking to a grownup, or friend, whose intelligence you respect.

  13. Bin Laden publicly stated that he decided to attack the US because of the military's involvement in Middle East geopolitics and its support of Israel. Saying that 9/11 happened just because Bin Laden despised our freedom sounds like a bad children's book and narrative-spinning.

There was also an explosion at the base of the tower that started the crumbling of the tower similar to a controlled demolition of a building I think there may have been another Al qaeda cell in america who possibly planted explosives at the base of the tower. I think the terrorist plane hijacker teams jobs were to terrify the public and scare the United States the cell blowing up the tower was purely casualties to further relay the message. There’s evidence of this as many 9/11 survivors remember an explosion from the bottom of the tower as well as the explosion from the plane hitting the tower. But everyone is free to make their own conclusions

  25. I don't understand. What about this video do people not know? Isn't all of that common knowledge? I was hoping you'd talk about the patriot act and the many freedoms Americans lost. Or how the attack was predicted by a certain famous person and it seemed US intelligence knew about the terrorists in the country but did nothing to stop them. Or how they were paid and trained by the Saudi government, a supposed ally to America. Or how bin laden was being harbored in Pakistan when killed, another supposed ally to America. Or how this one act led to the longest wars in American history and the weakening of American international influence. Or how it led to the president ordering the targeted assassination of an American citizen overseas without trial nor due process. Seriously! Are you even trying?!

  28. USA was already at war with Al Qaeda before 9/11. US Forces destroyed some camps of training of Al Qaeda after US Embassy bombing in Kenya. I don't remember how the struggle began, but the 9/11 didn't come from nowhere. Al Qaeda was hitting american targets months before the attack in US soil.

  35. Of course you talk about George W. Bush's actuons for 9/11, but when it came to Obama's administration being involved in the takedown of Bin Laden, you didnt mention him at all. Why mention Bush and not Obama? You said you were going to talk about what America did afterwards, but left out the administration that ended Bin Laden's life.

  39. Muslims have been terrorizing the world since 1400 AC. (Ask yourself why you didn’t know any of this.)
    In this early Muslim world, Muslims were the first to make Jews wear a yellow star. Christian’s had to wear special belts. They wouldn’t let Jews or Christians own weapons. Jews and Christians had to pay a “Jizya”, or a special tax (and we still pay). And some Muslims sell/own slaves. Their Koran makes it OK.
    Muslims murdered 600,000 people to help Hitler. Turkish muslims murdered a million Armenian Christians in 1911. Muslims are the only ones ever to hijack planes, and Muslims attacked us on 9/11/2001. Their terror is ingrained in Islam. It cannot be separated. We cannot let them slide—again and again.

  40. George Bush administration invaded the wrong country and had multiple Americans killed for no reason, which made the world despise America more and gave the birth of ISIS.

    It was Obama's administration that took down Bin Laden.

Utter hogwash. Who neocon jerk is writing this crap? I feel bad that this kid has to read this with sappy enthusiasm because he clearly has no clue what he's talking about. These last series of videos have been absolutely awful.
