Before becoming a Christian, I questioned a lot of Jesus including the historical events that led Jesus to come down to earth when he did? Perhaps history was setting up clues in preparation for the coming of Jesus? In this video, I’ll be discussing the historical evidence for the existence of Jesus Christ. As a Christian apologist, I believe that the evidence for Jesus is strong and compelling, and I’m excited to share my perspective on this topic. Well I explore that idea a little bit here.   1. Jim, I love your content, but as a recovered catholic, could I make a request? Please find a better image of Jesus for your thumbnail. About the only way you could look more catholic than using the sacred heart of Jesus would be to put an image of the immaculate heart of Mary! Blessings Brother! 🙏

  2. The Hebrew language, long before Greek or vowels, is able to express deeply complex ideas and the entire Old Testament was written thus. That's 2/3rds of G-d's word, almost all of which points to Yehoshua/Yeshua/Jesus.
    We all have pathways in to Jesus, but exploring the pathway that was laid for him, since before Eden, is essential.

  4. I came to a similar conclusion when wondering why Jesus would arise when/where he did, because I found it puzzling that God would have a "chosen" people. Re-contextualizing it as, "Jesus appeared within the Roman empire" made a lot more sense, then it just became a question of which marginalized faith would be best suited to being adapted into Christianity.

  5. So I am a youth pastor love the fuse logic that you represent here in this video. Is there a series or playlist that you have that i can show my youth. My kids are all street kids not from church parents so they don't have the scriptural references necessary. I need to blend this with scripture we have for the last 2 years doing mark and John.

    I love reading my KJV. You can see after reading the new testament then going back to the old testament at how the bible is alive. Meaning it backs itself up. Reference to reference.
    2 Corinthians 13:1

    “This is the third time I am coming to you. In the mouth of two or three witnesses shall every word be established.”

  19. Before I get into this video, I'd like to say thank you Mr. Wallace and praise God for all the hard work you have done and all the work God allows you o find and share.
    As for myself, who was also in the Religion of Atheism, I used prophecy of Daniel and God used prophecy to convert me. Praise God for all things.
    Prophecy of Daniel I believe is the best way but God uses all ways for His glory.

  21. This is tremendously helpful and encouraging. Many people try to share the faith by showing how submission to God is beneficial, but it's so important to remember that we believe because it is true. The evidence is overwhelming.
    In just four days, I will be leaving on my first international missions trip. Nothing brings more joy than service to and glorification of God!

    I hope and pray more preachers and Bible teachers would incorporate a little bit of apologetics and the history of ancient cultures as they preach and teach to the lost and or confused sheep.

    I do have a question, though. In Exodus 17:14, shortly after crossing the Red Sea, Moses was instructed by God to "Write … in a book". Much more writing happens through the balance of the Books of Moses. I'm not convinced that writing with an alphabet only started two to four hundred years later at 1000 BCE. Maybe I misunderstood something in the presentation.

  31. Also Joseph in the prison had 2 people on his side, one who was going to killed by being hung, and the other would serve pharaoh. The same way Jesus had 2 prisoners by his side. One who was going to be tormented, the other who was saved by asking Jesus for forgiveness and would serve him.
