Hey there, I just want to thank you both for the work you guys have done to defend the faith and it's always encouraging to see the body of Christ come together to collaborate for the sake of the gospel to be known, to the glory of God.
If there is any chance that David Wood sees this comment, I just feel it in my heart to say, brother, I understand that there are violent extremists in this world, I know you have probably been really hurt and angered by the backlash and persecution you have faced over the years from many Muslims (and probably other people groups) for the work you are doing for Christ. You've probably seen and heard a lot of merciless, hateful actions and comments towards you, Nabeel, your loved ones, and many others. And I know the Quran is straight up misleading people.
But please don't let your heart be hardened or your love grow cold. God knows it all, and everyone who does wrong will be repaid for their wrongs. (Col 3:25)
We, as followers of Jesus are not called to hate our enemies. We know that Jesus said to love and pray for our enemies and bless those who persecute us.
WE were all once enemies of God, and we all nailed Jesus to the cross, you know he died for us — despite of us, because of love. The apostle Paul was a violent extremist who persecuted the church but God saved him (and all of us in Christ) by His grace.
The reason I say this is because I noticed the mug, "Jihadi tears" and it really struck me and it breaks my heart.
I just think having that mug or any kind of hateful disposition towards any group, it does not represent the true Jesus.
I know it's coming from a place of hurt but, we cannot repay evil with evil. It only pushes people away from Christ, and we are meant to be ministers of reconciliation, because God no longer counts our sins against us. God wants all people to be saved, he does not wish for anyone to perish but all to come to repentance. (2 Peter 3:9)
I just want to encourage you brother, and anyone else who may read this, that if you receive persecution for the faith, please forgive them, for they know not what they do.
"The devil has blinded the minds of unbelievers." (2 Cor 4:4)
"For our struggle is not against flesh and blood, but against the rulers, against the authorities, against the powers of this dark world and against the spiritual forces of evil in the heavenly realms." (Eph 6:24)
"If I have (…) all knowledge, and if I have a faith that can move mountains, but do not have love, I am nothing." (1 Cor 13:2)

The connection between science and Christianity is important. I was deceived into believing that Christianity caused the "dark ages" during my atheist teen years, where progress somehow drastically went down. You all remember that chart.
I think there are a lot more scientists who are Christian than you think, but they are the silent ones because they risk their grant approvals if they express any other view than secular. The atheistic scientists on the other hand, are very vocal and outspoken… "in your face" types, typical of the left. I watch at least a dozen of them on YouTube all the time. It's how I get my information because I have difficulty reading. God guides my viewing, I believe. And vice versa 😁 I recommend all Christians do that so they can get a firm foundation on a variety of scientific topics under their belts of Truth.
It's not science that Christians don't trust, it's the people who are using the word "science" to their advantage when they really mean "agenda". God created science and the mind of human beings, so all TRUE science will be in alignment with God's Word.
I'm not sure if J Warner Wallace reads the comments on this channel. I've certainly never seen him respond to any. But I'd love to know where to find this research and chart he is talking about! Dors anyobe know where?
