You’ve heard a lot about Big Oil, Big Pharma, Big Tech, and all the other big bad players out there.
I want to talk to you about the biggest, baddest one of them all.
This Goliath doesn’t deal in billions. It deals in trillions.
I’m talking about… Big Green.
Yes, the Environmental Movement.
It’s the richest, most powerful “Big” in the world right now.
Nothing else even comes close.
Until we see it for what is and reign it in, it’s going to get even bigger.
And as is usually the case, bigger is not always better.
You see, Big Green wants to take over your life.
It has to.
This makes perfect sense.
Big Green, after all, intends to save the planet from oblivion.
Your freedom would seem to be a small price to pay.
To accomplish its mission Big Green needs two things:
Money. And power.
It already has a lot of both.
But it’s hungry for much more.
Who do we mean when we say Big Green?
We mean the major organizations that set the agenda for the movement. This would include, among dozens:
Greenpeace.
350.Org.
Nature Conservancy.
Sierra Club.
World Wildlife Fund.
And, of course, the politicians, bureaucrats, corporations, and media outlets who support and promote their agenda.
Before we get any deeper into this, let’s stipulate a few things.
The climate is changing.
It appears, though we can’t be sure, to be slowly warming.
If it continues to warm, it could cause serious environmental problems sometime in the distant future.
Industrialization probably plays a role in this warming process.
Reasonable people should be able to agree on this.
Democrat leader Nancy Pelosi and Republican leader Newt Gingrich actually once sat down together and said as much in a public service ad they made in the 1990s.
But Big Green has no interest in being reasonable.
Reasonable doesn’t get you money.
Reasonable doesn’t get you power.
So, let’s talk about the money.
Greenpeace, Nature Conservancy, World Wildlife Fund, and Sierra Club all have financial assets in the $100 to $300 million-dollar range.
Name a Fortune 500 company and chances are they’re writing big checks to Big Green.
Banking giant, Citigroup, for example, has committed $100 billion to “combat climate change.”
But the real money is at the government level. In 2009 the Obama Administration directed more than $110 billion to be spent on renewable energy “investments” under the American Recovery and Reinvestment Act alone. What the taxpayer got for this investment other than long-forgotten $500 million-dollar boondoggles—like Solyndra—is hard to say.
According to the best economic models, the Paris Climate Accord will cost the world $1 to 2 trillion every year.
Total cost for The Green New Deal $52 trillion—minimum.
But money is only a means to an end.
The end is power.
The power to transform society into what they think it should be.
That’s what this is really about.
Here’s how Saikat Chakrabarti, the architect of the Green New Deal described it to the Washington Post: “…it wasn’t originally a climate thing at all…we really think of it as a how-do-you-change-the-entire-economy thing.”
Maybe you like all this.
That’s fine.
But don’t pretend it’s about protecting the environment. Chakrabarti was being honest. You should be, too. It’s about transferring more and more power to the government—at every level: federal, state, local.
And the way to get the power is to gin up scary scenarios.
The planet is burning. The seas are rising. We’re all going to be dead soon unless we listen to those masters of disaster, Al Gore, Bill McKibben, and Greta Thunberg.

If we dont move to renewable energy, we will remain dependent on oil shipments from the Persian gulf. And what country do we find in the Persian gulf. Iran, not really best mates with America. Our entire world is depending in tensions not flairing up in that region.
If Green companies are so caring about the earth why do they not work to get recycling centers up & going everywhere.? Until recently the garbage we so carefully separated and prepared for recycling. Was put together and sent to China. Yes, our garbage was sold to China. Think about that. Right under our noses. Even states that make you “recycle” don’t have full recycling facilities. They usually can recycle paper. But unless the citizens of a state vote and support recycling facilities, they are not there. Where are the green companies on getting the green theme going in countries who don’t care! Like China, Russia, India to name a few. Those countries toss their garbage in the ocean or get rid of it in non green ways. We share the same ocean & skies with them. So where’s the work on that? Global warming is only a concern for scientists who work and or are paid by green companies & politicians to put fear into people to hopefully force them to do the bidding of tyranny. So tyrannical elites can make a ton of money off your fear. Do research! The earth’s temperature has gone up one degree in a 100 years! All the things claimed as global warming are lies. They are normal. Look through history. Do research that doesn’t come from green companies & green politicians. The earth changes. Because it’s alive. Where there are now desserts were once tropical jungles and oceans. If these green companies & green politicians were actually afraid for the earth. There would be serious scientific research. Right now all we have are studies that show 60% of scientists don’t think it’s an issue. 37% say just watch. Be proactive in not poisoning the soil, skies & ocean. Which we are! And the 3% that are left, who work for green companies. Say the sky is falling. It’s simple math. Greed breeds tyranny. Tyranny can’t work without fear.

We should stop the deaths of birds hitting windmills. So let's obliterate the eco system by burning more and more fuels. Rise the sea level and submerge Bangladesh. Cause extinction of many more species. Chill man… We at least saved some birds.

Do these people ever stop to think that maybe the environmental movement is not about humans, and instead is intended to raise awareness about the rest of the life we share the planet with? “Humans can and will adapt” horrible misunderstanding of simple problem solving skills; real adaptation is a process in organisms which is lengthy and energetically costly, and humans are changing the conditions of the planet far faster than most life forms can keep up with. Also sea walls are horrible solutions for rising sea levels; they accelerate and intensify coastal erosion and destroy coastal ecosystems. Stop building houses and establishments right on the waterfront… the very presence of the building is the catalyst for irreversible coastal damage.
How much money does the fossil fuel industries get in subsidies i wonder. Oh you don't want to talk about that. Curious!

Yeah, the US and the developed countries might have solutions to those problems but, here's the catch, you need money.
Something that many countries don't.
Raising levels of sea water might not be a problem for you but for the poor countries it is, with hundreds of homes flooded and refugees going to the northern countries.

It is funny to think that the world is getting warmer because of the inhabitants. The truth is, that isn't true. The planet is getting warmer because we are getting closer to the sun. Scientists have theorized that eventually we will be engulfed by the sun as a supernova, but in the meantime planets such as mercury will be rotating within the sun if not burnt to nothing and Venus will be the new Mercury. So in other words, The earth is heating up because we are getting closer to the sun as theorized by scientists with accurate sources … and I learned about that in 2003.
